Privacy Policy

Navo is a personal AI assistant. Accounts are invite-only. This policy explains what information the app stores, why, who it's shared with, and how you can delete it.
What we store
- Your account: username and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never store your password itself.
- What you create in the app: your chats, the facts the assistant remembers about you (for example your address or preferences, which you can see, edit and delete), reminders and scheduled tasks, files, and website projects you build.
- Saved logins (only if you choose "remember"): stored encrypted, separately for each account.
- The assistant's browser profile: cookies and sign-ins from websites the assistant uses for you.
- Settings: your time zone and, if you turn them on, notification subscriptions for your devices.
- Usage: how much AI each account uses (to show costs and apply limits), and technical logs to keep the app working.
Passwords and verification codes you type on a secure sign-in page are passed straight to the website you're signing in to. They are never shown to any AI, and never saved unless you tick "remember".
Why we use it
- To do the tasks you ask for (searching, browsing, shopping up to your confirmation, building websites, reminders).
- To remember your preferences so you don't have to repeat them.
- To keep accounts secure, apply spending limits, and fix problems.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes your information
To answer you, your messages (and screenshots or page text the assistant needs) are sent to these AI providers, which process them under their own terms:
- Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google (Gemini) and xAI (Grok).
Other services the app relies on:
- Railway: hosts the app and stores its data.
- Steel: provides the cloud browser the assistant uses to visit websites for you.
- Your browser's push service (Google, Apple or Mozilla): delivers notifications to your devices.
- Websites you ask the assistant to use: receive whatever is needed to do the task (for example a search or an order).
How long we keep it
Your data stays until you delete it or your account is deleted. Backups are kept for up to 14 days and then removed automatically.
Your choices
- See, edit or delete what the assistant remembers in 🧠 What it remembers.
- Delete chats, projects, reminders and saved logins inside the app.
- Turn notifications off at any time.
- To delete your whole account and all its data, contact the person who invited you (the admin) or the address below. Deletion removes everything immediately; backups disappear within 14 days.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, saved logins are encrypted, and each account's data is kept separately. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Navo is not meant for children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their information.
AI answers
Answers are generated by AI and can be wrong. Check important information. You can report a problematic answer with the Report button under any answer.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app for important changes.
